May graduated with a Bachelor in Business. Her passion is working with the Hmong community especially with young Hmong girls. In her tenure with Girl Scouts River Valley, she pioneered multiple Hmong events and programs for the community. Mai Time Hmong Camp is the ongoing program for descent of young Hmong women (inclusive of biracial and non-binaries) to connect back to their root and find their voice in their community.

May enjoys traveling, arts and crafts, sewing and connecting with others.
